Uruki

The Genbu seishi that Takiko stumbles upon when first arriving in the world of the book, Sixteen year old Uruki also known as Roun Rimudo (or Limdo) is the one who is destined to become Takiko's lover. Uruki [ 女 ] is actually a man who transforms into a woman when using his powers of the wind. However, from the very beginning Uruki is reluctant to join Takiko because of his past and fate that was foretold.

Actually born the only son of the Emperor’s brother, Uruki is the royal prince of Hokkan. Uruki was constantly hunted from birth as it was prophesized that he would end up killing his father when the priestess arrived. His mother ran away from the palace and left him in the care of Soruen's family, who remained loyal to him. Uruki grew up not knowing his fate until they were attacked and he accidentally activated his seishi powers for the first time, during which time he decided that he would never become a seishi of Genbu. He was so set in his way that he even became a soldier, of sorts, for Kutou working for the son of the Emperor of that country, Hakei.

After Haagasu joined forces with Kutou, Uruki planned on proving to the Emperor that his father was siding with Kutou and also wanted to kill the priestess. However, before he could, Uruki was forced to show his identity in order to protect Takiko from being attacked. Since then, his goal is to help the people of Hokkan and protect Takiko.
