Hatsui

Zara Erutai, or more commonly known as Hatsui [ 室 ], is only twelve years old and is the youngest of the seishi. Being the youngest, and also picked on for being slow and a crybaby, Hatsui is very introverted and shy. He is the third celestial warrior to join Takiko and tries not to stand out as a character too much.

Orphaned at a young age, Hatsui was left behind to repay the depts that his parents had managed to collect. They being herbalists, taught Hatsui everything he knows about herbs and healing; which is what he is in charge of in the group. Before he joined Takiko though, he stayed hidden in his basket, something he can cause to appear when he needs it - which also acts as sort of a shield. His power also includes needles that he can create with will.

After accidentally attacking the townspeople who were cruel to him because of his faults; Hatsui ran away into the mountains where he met and was used by Phen, who was only trying to look for an opening to be able to kill him. Hating himself, Hatsui believed that everyone was out to kill him and so he attacked anyone who approached him. However, Takiko was able to get through to him and give him the self confidence and feeling of belonging that he needed to join the group.
